About Us

Geoids began with a group of King’s College London geography and geology students in 1930. Today, we’re an independent theatre society and registered charity (charity no. 1128763), bringing performers, creatives, musicians and backstage teams together from across London.

We produce large-scale musicals, cabarets, concerts and our gloriously chaotic 48-Hour Panto, alongside workshops and social events throughout the year. At heart, we’re a community of people who want to create great theatre and enjoy making it together.

We bring together people with different backgrounds, skills and experience, giving them opportunities to contribute, develop and do their best work. We’re ambitious about what we put on stage, while believing that the process of creating it should be collaborative, rewarding and fun.

How We Make Theatre

We want to make ambitious, high-quality theatre, but we care just as much about how it is made.

Geoids productions should be collaborative, respectful and enjoyable places to work. Everyone, onstage and off, should feel supported, know what’s expected of them and have the space to do their best work.

Great shows come from strong ideas, good communication and people working together. Opening night should be the culmination of a rewarding process, not the first time anyone has enjoyed being part of the show.
