The Addams Family Has Officially Begun
They’re creepy, they’re kooky and, as of 4 July, they are officially in rehearsal.
The cast of Geoids’ The Addams Family has gathered for the first time, beginning three months of music, movement and magnificently macabre family drama before the show arrives at The Cockpit this October.
Adrianna Cordero-Marin leads the younger generation as Wednesday Addams, who has fallen in love with sweet, decidedly normal Lucas Beineke, played by Finley Carty-Howe. Unfortunately, bringing their two families together for dinner proves anything but normal.
Joey Brown and Sadie Kempner take on Gomez and Morticia, with Lucy Boardman as Pugsley, Sam Sugarman as Fester, Helen Parsons as Grandma and Philip Raymond as Lurch.
On the Beineke side, Helena Busiakiewicz and Tom Howard play Lucas’s parents, Alice and Mal, whose evening with the Addamses may uncover rather more than anybody intended.
They are joined by our Wonderful Ancestors: Hugh Blayney, Kitty Debieux, Frankie Finch Leonard, Nadya Mere, Mila Esi Rust, Rachel Savage, Philippa Welch and Jake Woolley.
With a brilliant company assembled and rehearsals now underway, we cannot wait to invite audiences into the Addams family home.
