Could You Create a Panto in Just 48 Hours?

Geoids’ much-loved 48-Hour Panto will return in January 2027, and we’re looking for the team brave, brilliant or gloriously foolish enough to lead it.

The premise is simple. Our cast and team come together on Friday evening, then have just 48 hours to rehearse, build and prepare a complete pantomime before performing it to an audience on Sunday.

Simple, obviously, being a relative term.

We’re currently inviting applications from:

  • Writers

  • Directors

  • Musical Directors

  • Choreographers

  • Producers

The panto is one of the biggest and most joyful challenges in the Geoids calendar. It is fast, collaborative and deliberately chaotic, bringing together experienced members and complete newcomers for one unforgettable weekend.

You do not need to arrive with an entire team already assembled. We welcome applications from individuals, pairs and partial teams, and we can help successful applicants fill any remaining roles.

Applications close at 11.59pm on Sunday 23 August 2026.

If you have big ideas, a love of terrible jokes and the ability to remain cheerful while running on very little sleep, we want to hear from you.
