It was with every pleasure that presented the incomparable Gershwin classic Crazy for You. Bursting with some of Gershwin's most iconic songs, dazzling dance routines (including breathtaking tapping), and an incredibly funny book by Ken Ludwig, this was be an escapist delight for performers and audiences alike.

When starstruck New York banker Bobby Child is sent to Deadrock to foreclose on a rundown theatre, he ends up falling for the theatre owner’s daughter, Polly Baker.  So instead, he hatches a plan to impersonate a famous impresario, save the theatre, and win the girl.  What follows are high-energy hijinks with showgirls and cowboys, missed opportunities, and mix ups.  Will love triumph in the end?

Featuring a stunning Gershwin score including  I Got Rhythm, They Can’t Take That Away from Me, Embraceable You, Nice Work if You Can Get It and Someone to Watch Over Me. We delivered a spectacular, all-singing, all-dancing production.

We were overjoyed to welcome back to the creative team, Tal Hewitt (director, Top Hat 2017) co directing with her husband Stephen Hewitt, Issie Osborne (musical director, A Little Night Music and Kipps: the Half a Sixpence Musical 2019) and Paul Brookland Williams (choreographer Kipps: the Half a Sixpence Musical 2019) as well as having Vanessa Forte join us for the first time since she played Cassie in our 2017 production of A Chorus Line.
