In May 2015, we dusted off our tap shoes to bring this classic musical to the Bridewell Theatre. Our first show in this venue, it was a real chance for our members to show off their dancing skills! The production was headed by Damian Sandys, who created an ensemble driven show where every member of the cast had their moment to shine.

Based on the 1933 film of the same name, this all-singing, all-tap dancing extravaganza tells the story of aspiring chorus girl Peggy Sawyer as she journeys from back row to central spotlight in theatre impresario Julian Marsh's latest Broadway show Pretty Lady.

Including such classic numbers as "Shuffle Off To Buffalo", "We're In The Money", and "Lullaby of Broadway", this was an irresistible feel-good musical that couldn't help but make audiences smile!
